Dr. Nadia Clark O.D.
Meet Dr. Nadia Clark
Dr. Nadia Clark earned her optometric degree from City University London in England. Before returning to Edmonton, she worked at Queen’s Medical Centre, part of Nottingham University Hospitals, where she gained extensive experience in ocular emergencies, paediatric and geriatric eye care, specialty contact lenses, and low vision. She also holds a double major in Biological Sciences and Science Psychology from the University of Alberta.
Her experience in the UK fostered a lasting interest in making eye care accessible and adapting care to meet each patient’s needs.
Since returning to Alberta in 2010, Dr. Clark has practised in Fort McMurray and Edmonton. She now owns and operates Bonnie Doon Optometry, a fully independent, locally owned clinic with no corporate ties or affiliations. She values the freedom this independence provides to put patients first, build lasting relationships, and deliver personalized care to her community.
In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Clark works with the Cross Cancer Institute in Edmonton, monitoring ocular side effects associated with emerging cancer treatments and contributing to clinical research. She is also a co-author of the forthcoming review, Pragmatic Implementation of Datopotamab Deruxtecan Therapy Management in Breast and Lung Cancer: A Canadian Multidisciplinary Approach, which explores the practical management of patients receiving this cancer therapy.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Clark enjoys spending time with her family, her daughter and son, and Kona, their Sheepadoodle. She also enjoys biking, pottery, and quilting.
Dr. Clark is passionate about providing thoughtful, evidence-informed care and building lasting relationships with her patients. She looks forward to welcoming you to Bonnie Doon Optometry.

Meet Marcus Goods
Hi! I’m Marcus Goods, and I’ve been working in the optical field for six years. I graduated from NAIT’s Optical Sciences program and love helping people see clearly and feel great in their new glasses.
If you’ve seen me around the clinic, you probably already know I’m a big guy with an even bigger smile! If you haven’t, there’s a good chance I’m in the back, working in our in-house lab to bring your new glasses to life. I take pride in getting the details right and making sure you love your new eyewear.
I believe in affordable eye care. That doesn’t mean cheap quality; it means finding great eyewear at a price that works for you. I know times can be tough, and I want you to feel just as good about what you paid for your glasses as you do about how they look and feel. If you have insurance benefits, I’m happy to help you make the most of them!
As a former football player, I believe in going the extra yard for every patient. I’m here to help you find the right glasses, the right fit, and the right price.

Ezagail Malazo-Brown Licensed Optician
I graduated Optical Sciences from NAIT 10 years ago. Originally from the Philippines, I love the tropical weather and island hopping. I enjoy helping people find eyewear that feels comfortable, looks great, and suits their individual style. One of my favourite parts of being an optician is helping patients step outside their comfort zone. I love choosing frames that they might not normally consider and seeing their reaction when they realize, “Wow, I didn’t expect to love these on me!”
Outside of work, I love to travel to different countries. So far, my favorite memory was exploring Valley of the Kings in Egypt. When I’m not traveling, I am a homebody and enjoy spending time with my husband and our two cats, Bo and Crusoe. I also love trying out new restaurants, cafés, and local stores around Whyte Avenue as well as going to antique and art supply stores. I’ve picked up crocheting and knitting in the last couple of years and do a lot of that during the cold months.
