Dr. Nadia Clark O.D. 

Dr. Clark obtained her optometric degree from City University London, in England. Before returning home to Edmonton, Dr. Clark held a graduate optometrist position with the prestigious Nottingham University Hospital at Queen’s Medical Centre in Nottingham, England. Having worked full-time at this large eye hospital, she has firsthand expertise treating ocular emergencies and managing a diverse range of pediatric and geriatric conditions. In this role, she is particularly known for her skill managing specialty contact lens fittings and low vision dispenses. Prior to her time abroad, she earned a double major in biological sciences and science psychology from the University of Alberta.

In 2010 she moved back to Alberta, practicing in Fort McMurray for two years before coming home to Edmonton where she has been practicing. When not in the clinic Dr. Clark can be found with her husband and two children.

By delivering outstanding patient care, she builds lasting relationships with patients. Dr. Clark looks forward to meeting you and earning the privilege of being your optometrist.

Mr. Mike Elmes - Licensed Master Optician 

Mr. Mike Elmes is a licensed optician with over 35 years experience and was the founder of Bonnie Doon Optical. Mike got his start in the optical as a child learning along side his father who was also an optician. Mike has spent the majority of his career as a licensed optician and most of those years as an owner. 

Mike's extensive experience and deep understanding of optics allows him to provide unparalleled precision and solutions for all your vision related needs. 

A licensed optician is an expert when it comes to glasses. An optician will help you choose the right frame and lenses for your particular need. There are many options such as coatings, progressive, bi-focals etc.. a licensed optician will educate you on these and give you the best options . Using some of the best edging equipment available, Mike makes the majority of the glasses onsite in our lab. After your glasses are made Mike will adjust your glasses to ensure a proper fit and function so you are completely satisfied with your purchase.
